Dedrick is ClaimtoFame just not a fan of these famous claims.
In E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the July 24 episode of Claim to Fame, Dedrick and fellow contestant Naomi have an awkward run-in at breakfast after she greets him as Mr. Jackson, a nod to the apparent clue he dropped during conversation the night before.
It's a greeting that truly takes Dedrick off guard.
"Why would you call me Mr. Jackson?" he says during a confessional. "Johnson, maybe. I think I look more like The Rock. Don't you?"
However, according to Dedrick, there were even more guesses that took him by surprise.
"Whatever you just called me is f--king better than Little Richard," he tells Naomi, referring to Adam's previous guess of his celeb relative. "I don't want to f--king be called Little Richard man. You ever seen that brother? Call me Jay-Z before that."
And though this admission earned laughter from his housemates, Adam couldn't help but reflect on why Dedrick would be so offended.
"He reacted in a very strange and awkward way," Adam shares in a confessional. "Either you really don't like the person or it is your celebrity relative."
But it didn't stop there.
"Y'all call me Little Richard," Dedrick says at the breakfast table, "Y'all couldn't say Idris Elba or something." Referring to Adam, he continued, "He gets called goodlooking people."
But for Adam, the defensive moment just further proves his hunch.
"No doubt in my mind this guy is Little Richard," Adam says. "We got the piano, I think he's the godfather of Rock n' Roll. However, I've been wrong in every category so far. I don't even know what planet I'm on to be honest with you."
